4) How did you use new media technology in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

   

The most vital part of technology that allowed us to access all of the other ones shown in the previous post and below is the Apple Imacs. these have all of the editing software and allowed us to create things that the normal school computers wouldnt such as wordles and prezis. the maxcs allowed me to easily edit images and use lots of interesting features due to the vast range of software's and available editing techniques compared to normal PC's. This meant that when i was making my Digi-pak and magazine advert everything was more simple e.g. variety of texts to use .

Another vital part which allowed us to take pictures for our digipak and pictures of locations was the digital cameras. The most important type of camera was the HD video cameras which we actually filmed our video with. these were brand new high quality to make sure that pur video was shot in the highest quality. The previous year i didn't use a digital camera and although they were good cameras this year i can tell the difference by a long way. The High Definition cameras allowed me to see everything so much clearer in our video and therefore allowed the video to incorporate clear long shots and mid shots.This made the video really effective and allowed us to capture the smiles and emotions that represent the song so much better.

To help us with our audience research and planning our video we used Survey monkey to get our information on what people wanted to see and who we should aim our video at. It helped me create a survey and get it out to the people who watch music videos.  we used it for collecting information on what people want and collecting information on what people thought of our video.

After capturing all of our footage we needed to edit it . the media programme we used for this was final cut express which is a programme which comes on the i macs. below is a time line of our footage where we arranged all of our clips and put certain effects in.
