3) What have you learned from your audience feedback?

For our audience feedback we created a survey for people on our face book and following our blogs to carry out. Through our results we found out a lot about what people thought about our music video as a whole and things that they feel were the best and worst parts.   Below i will show the results that we receive and comment on things we have learnt from each and every question.

The majority of people that have watched our video and taken our survey are 30+ . To us this is a surprise as we made our video for teenagers. From this we have learnt that maybe our video was not suited to reaching the intended target audience.

The majority of people that took our survey were females. this shows that part of our intended audience has been reached. Because we were predominantly a boy band we were looking to attract more of a female audience as they are stereotypically the ones that like boy bands as opposed to a male audience.

the majority of the people surveyed rated our video as either good or excellent and only 9% said that it was average. From this we have learnt that generally the people enjoyed our video and we have done a good job with everything that we have put in.

From the responses we received on this question we learnt that our lip synching was in time and it looked like our main singer was actually singing the song which was the main aim for video. if the lip synching is out it makes the video look messy and un professional.

As every result we received so far this was again positive with the majority of people saying that the individuals who performed in our video were excellent. from this we have learnt that performance and lip synching are vital to the success and the way that a music video is interpreted and viewed.

We wanted to use london as our main location as we wanted the shots to look interesting and we wanted the audience to have more to look at than just the band. From our responses we have learnt that this was successful as most of the people liked our locations and thought they were interesting. Only a small minority said that on occasions the location did not suit the scene.

On this question we received no negative responses. The majority of people said that because the characters were having fun it made the video fun to watch. Also people said that they enjoyed some of the quick editing incorporated which made it more exciting and gave them lots of different shots to look at.

From this response i have learnt that our video in the eyes of the majority of other people is faultless. The only criticisms we received were that the girl in the video should of featured more and that we should of had more band scenes and locations.

As a whole the survey shows that our video is very well liked and people got enjoyment out of watching the video and watching us have fun.
