I feel that our music video really conforms to the key conventions of the music video, it incorporates lots of key factors, props and techniques. Below i will show different shots and techniques compared with other videos too show where it conforms and where it is dis-similar.
In our music video we use a typical band scene with the commonly arising props of guitars and a a microphone. Below is an image of out band scene and a band scene from a real music video.
In many music videos it is common to include a scene of the band to edit in and out of that scene and lots of different shots.

In our music video we have used a wide range of camera shots all of which are common in all music videos. Some example of shots are close ups, mid shots and low angle shots. Below are some photographic examples of our video compared to professional videos.

In our video we decided too use interesting scenery in order for our video to look good and professional as opposed to looking like it was filmed in a school. this conforms to typical conventions as a lot of music videos are based in cities such as London and LA. A recent music video example would be 'One Thing' by One Direction which is based in london in front of london scenery.

| one direction- one thing |
As you can see both our video and one directions 'one thing' video interesting and well known scenery has been used to make the video more interesting and give the viewer more things to look at.
